Praying at the Western Wall
The Western Wall of the Temple Mount is as close as the Jews can get to the site of David’s and Solomon’s temple to the Lord. Built nearly 3000 years ago, it was the place of God’s presence in the Holy of Holies.
It is believed that prayers offered here reach the throne room of God and the prayers and petitions are heard and answered. I wrote out a prayer for my family and friends recently on a small piece of paper, and put names on it, those to whom the prayer was for. If you are reading this, you were included in the prayer!
“May the Lord bless you from Zion. May the Lord keep you and make His face to shine upon you. May the Lord show His favor to you, to your children, and to your children’s children all the days of your lives, and at the end, finally bring you home to be with Him for eternity”.
This is the prayer on the piece of paper that I prayed at the wall, leaving the paper folded tightly and stuffed into a crevice between the stones. God bless you from Zion!
Thank you so much, we are grateful to you and especially to the Lord, for all his many Blessings. Love to you and Julee, May He keep you safe. Mom and Dad
Thanks Artie and Julee: God bless the two of you and I sincerely hope that you are not in any danger.

Many thanks for including us on a prayer paper on the Wall!!
Treasure every bit of the prayer … and from whom it comes from.
Thanks for thinking of us in your prayers. Glad to hear all is well. We would love to see you guys in August. In fact you should plan on staying at our place and save on a hotel.
